Yesterday was the Climb to the Eagle in Adelaide. About 240 cars left Adelaide for Hahndorf using the Old Mt Barker Road and the freeway. The contingent stopped for morning tea and then on to Victor Harbour for lunch.

The traffic was too heavy to have much fun on the first leg, but my navigator found a quieter road on the way to Victor where we could find some speed. On the way back we got a clear run up Bull's Creek Road - a legendary bit of winding blacktop just made for a weekday blast when there are no Sunday drivers about. :)

The weather was superb and it was a fun day out.

Here are some pics - including a couple of our Sunday morning gang (Al's GT40 and Simon's Giordini). The Lambo Islero is one of only about 100 left in the world and was imported just a couple of weeks ago.

Very nice pics, looks like a decent turnout of cars - no pics of your Gallardo?

Any chance of emailing me the high-res of the GT40, 330 GT 2+2, GT4, DB9 and Islero, please?

were you in the front somewhere? the first car i noticed in the field was Al's GT40, but traffic was in the way and i couldn't see any cars in front of that (you's had green lights and was causing traffic havoc for the rest of us! :D )
