On my 348 after setting the clock it will tick correctly for about 15 minutes, stop at random and blink. Any idea's on how to get it fixed ?

Also what is the best way to wax the deck lid for the engine? Lots of nooks and crannies, do you guys use a special tool ?
    Thanks,

    Mike

Hi Mike, I am not sure about your clock issue, but I know that this is a common problem.

The first time I asked about the clock issue on mine, I was told "Welcome to the 348 ownership, forget about your clock working as you and several others have this probelm" :)

As for waxing the deck lid, I don't know of any special tools. I waxed mine last year and no trouble, just take your time and you will be fine.

If it runs for a period of time and then starts blinking you may have the 30 amp "hidden" fuse (under the trunk liner in the front of the car, passenger side) starting to melt.

My clock runs fine once set until I turn off the car. At the next start it blinks 0:00 again.

Chances are that the clock hasn't been set properly. See owners handbook page H7.

Mine did the same thing the fuse was melted. Even a new fuse didn't work. Have to install a new fuse holder and see if that works.

Definatley check that fuse right away. Do a search on here if you don't know where it is.
