If you look back at the thread I started 2-3 years ago you will find the details of the IC (Integrated Chip) in the clock itself. Very easy to replace (5 solder pins from memory). The IC came from the UK which I did leave their details in the thread and cost me at the time £5 part and £5 postage. If you have trouble finding the post I will still have the receipt and part number. Just check before hand the resistance of the motor before you purchase the IC. Again from memory I think it was in the 300 ohms region.
