Clooney's not in Magnum (as earlier reported)

Tom Selleck ought to get the lead, driving an Enzo.

 

I think it should be Tom Selleck driving a 308 GTS to give it that retro feel...

Just think, they could have a great storyline where he's driving around and it breaks down and he has to wiggle the fuses and get the fuel pump going again. Very macgyver...

 

All i know is that Colin Farrel sucks... supposedly they are considering him as well, and although it would guarantee some extra box office dollars due to the bum rush of chicks to the theaters, I'd rather this be a new cult classic and have Selleck. I mean, he's the ONLY guy that can pull this off. It's HIM for chr*st's sake.

 

I'd want Sellect in a 360 spyder or even a 355 targa. An Enzo is too over-the-top, IMO, and also makes filming difficult because of the closed roof.

 

It's gotta be the 355 gts... no spiders... just like the original

Nope.It's GOT TO be 'THE' 308. NO Other car will do. He returns to "Robin's Nest". Higgin's tosses him the keys. He goes out to the Garage,pulls off the Car cover,and there she is...still looking like Brand new. A Time Capsule. (but,the seals are as supple as the day she rolled out of the Factory. 15K service? NAH!!!!) Naturally,it starts right up when he turns the key... And,off to see Rick and T.C. for an "Old Dusseldorf" at the King Kamehameha (?) Club. With "The Lads"-"Zeus" and "Apollo" chasing him down the driveway....


Yeah. Would you change Higgins from a British "Butler type"guy? No. The Lads,anything other than Dobermans? No. The car MUST be 'THE 308.' And,whoever plays Magnum,HAS to have a Bushy 'Stasche. No "Metro Sexual" ,clean shaven looking Dudes,either.

 

i think they should go with another 308 GTS for the movie; then, about 20 minutes into it, Magnum is chasing someone and he just can't keep up because times have changed and lightly modified imports are spanking him; so then he goes to Higgins and says, "Hey, listen, i need an updated whip..." So Higgins reluctantly agrees to let him go buy something else; something faster... So then he gets a 348 GTS or a 355 GTS...


i also agree that the car has to be a GTS; no NNO, no 550/575/550 Barchetta, no 360/360 Spider - it's gotta be a GTS, not a spider... Either a 348, 355 or nothing...

 

Any Ferrari - as long as it's not looney clooney in it...

 

It will also be interesting to see who will play Higgans, as the actor (forget his name) also passed away a couple years ago if I remember correctly. I also think Selleck should play the role. He created it and no one else can fill those shoes.

 

If Selleck is going to play, then it must be the 308 GTS.

If anybody else will get the rold, then I don't care what he drives, 'cause that ain't real Magnum!!!!

Don't mess with the culture icon.

 

Please let it be Selleck in a Red/Tan 355 GTS and not either of those two clowns Colin Farrell or Clooney.
