Nice shots John. Below are some of mine. Including a good one of the Wildcat's high speed, low altitude fly over & Gerry's 328 through the Wildcat's main gear well. It was really nice of Pilot, Mike Gillian to let us park near the plane. Had a great time. Thanks John, Gerry, & Norbert for sharing the day. A special thanks to Carla G. & Jeff Stainer for their assistance with this event. The Lambo Club will display their cars tomorrow. Sheesh, how did I manage to completely forget about this event?! Guess it's best that I wasn't there though, I would have probably been in tears. A couple of decades ago, I had to give up my license and sell the twin Cessna 310, once I became a diabetic. Flying is one of the things I miss most in life.
A nice event. Norbert Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great pictures Dave and Norbert. You guys are so artistic. I like the 328 tail lights and the plane. (Can I have a high res.?) I am thinking Gerry will post some as well. I sent a bunch of good ones to him of his car. His car was so well positioned for great shots of the planes flying by. What's up with Zerex? Does it remove fingerprints? I have never seen so many fingerprints on the sides of my car as I did after the event. So many kids and adults were really interested in looking the cars over. Luck was with me as I didn't find any ice cream drips down the inside of the doors. I hope the Lambo group got some good photos today before the rain.
John and Dave took some great photos. Here are a few more that John took. The owner/pilot of the Wildcat, graciously let us park the cars under his wing and we spent some time talking to him about his FM-2 Wildcat. It is powered by a 9 cylinder rotary engine that delivers 1350 HP. Some kid asked which was faster, his aircraft or a Ferrari. He smiled and said well, I can go about 300 mph straight up. I traded my black Gallardo Spyder for the Murci Roadster a few months ago. I just put on those huge Larini exhaust tips last week!
Carla, Great pictures. Glad to see you got some in before the rain. BTW, any rain shots? Wet Lambos like wet F-cars are very fun and make for great pictures.
Great pics of both the Ferraris and Lambos. Carla, love those Larini tips; makes the 'Bad Bul' look like a Mad Bull, with nostrils flaring! Maybe a tag change is in order....if no one already has it (seriously), I think 'Mad Bull' would be cool.
Yes. I changed the Tubi tips to Larini. The tips are interchangeable and fit on the Tubi exhaust! Now it looks as bad as it sounds!
