    Beats the pounding and cops on I-85. My experience has been from eastern part of SC to 178. It's a nice, scenic drive in relatively flat foothills with the mountains alongside when you get into the upstate. Services and restaurants a bit far apart. I have led scenic motorcycle rides to Caesar's Head which is roughly a 15-20 mile one way off 11 but an incredible vista.

    I have also led groups to lunch at various restaurants in the vicinity of Table Rock. That park is right off 11 between 276 and 178.
