OK. Now that it's a sticky, here is the whole scoop: "Get together at Chapter's/Starbucks across from Sherway Gardens Mall on the Queensway between Hwy 427 & The West Mall. Every Saturday at 10:00 am this location for an informal get together. I realize that with vacations, track days, etc... it won't be possible for everyone to show up all the time, but the idea is that you can pop by for 2 minutes or 2 hours. Coffee, mags all available and if those present decide to go for a drive or lunch, we can take off from there. FYI: we gather in the parking lot behind the Chapter's/Starbucks; less visible from the street, but also less possiblities of clapped out minivans/SUVs/pickups and other assorted POS's sidding up to your car." If you're heading south on 427 exit at Queensway. Turn right. Through 1 light & turn right at the next. Drive past Starbucks & around back. We are looking for a new venue & I will report here as available. April 7 will be a lighter day because as Mark mentioned, there is a Porsche DE. And it's the Easter weekend. Sorry...I've still got a bitter taste in my mouth when I was told today, (with an air of arrogance and contempt) that it was a "by invitation only" to Montreal's elite. From what I also understood, the FCA members weren't even invited.

Ouch, bitterness is right! Its cool though, your a legit guy and I think that is a better quality than a red piece of cardboard with a Ferrari logo and a RSVP written on it. I mean any owner who can hold a lengthy conversation with a poor student and his 'lady friend' at a Ferrari event without talking down to them is quite the respectable dude. thanks for confirming all is on i would LOVE to go, just tryign to see if anyone has an extra seat in an F-car and i will pay for the fuel to there (so 1/2 the trip is free for someone) and i finally get to talk with another F-car person face to face and experience an F-car by with an F-car driver! I am looking at 308 and 328 so that would be my ideal ride to see what these babies can do!! so.... as i have to come from bracebridge, i can meet someone on the 400/401 and go from there with them. IF possible if NO one, that is okay too, just thought i might get a response if no one, where do we go as i do not know where the RM place literally is (only that it is in Chatham) who do i need to confirm the RM event with? (so new to the F-scene esp in Ontario so i apologize for being so newbie!!) thx again, gord i may have an f-car by May 12, but who knows, busy time of year with construction on (architect by trade) so the purchase had to be put on the back burner for a bit. p.s. anyone have a comment on the car by gardelli motors (i have comments from the other US f-chat members) car is at http://www.gardellimotors.ca/carwebpages/81ferrari308.htm

Hi Gord, good luck hitching a ride. I assume everyone has their seats full and thats why it's hard. As for the Gardelli car, I do believe they've had it for a while. So who knows... Whatever you do make sure you get a PPI. I am sure you know that but sometimes people get ahead of themselves. Like Rickster said, take your time and get the right car. Vasco
