My car is giving a single "clunk" when i pull away......and, of course, not everytime. Sound comes from behind me (rhd car). Do dinos have problems with drive shafts ? Or is it suspension related? As clunk is on right i am discounting it being the clutch.

    In order of likelihood -
    1) Koni Shock - internal clunk - needs to be rebuilt or replaced
    2) Koni Shock - internal clunk - needs to be rebuilt or replaced
    3) Broken shock spring
    4) loose or diseased rear anti-sway bar or mounts
    5) suspension bushing

There is also the possibility of sticking rear brake pads. Try parking both with and without the hand brake to see if there is any difference. Jim is probably more right than me on the cause but my method is easier to do :)

Rob and Jon - both ideas are good ones. I should have thought of them and included them in my list.
