    I am going to change the clutch on my 95 355. I have looked at some of the threads on doing it yourself. I am fairly mechanically inclined. It seems like it wont be too much of a problem. Anyone else out there, that has done it yourself have any advice for me.

    PM me with your e-mail. I did this on my car back in March and did an extremely detailed write-up. Although I e-mailed this to the site administrators at least 10 times, it somehow never seemed to get to them. The write-up is very detailed with pics & is around 1.5MB.

    I will also try to post it chunk by chunk in a new thread.

    Great post. I can't believe it looks so much more involved than on a 308.

    That looks like an exploded view of an F1 setup. Speaking of F1's and clutches, can anyone confirm if the clutch sensor (#11 in pic) must be recalibrated with an SD2 when replacing a clutch assy?

    Curious,
    Pino

    I have some questions around doing a 355 clutch yourself;

    What should I expect to pay for the parts (replacement clutch)?

    who would you recommend purchasing the parts through?

    What is the general consensus of the reconditioned clutches?

    finally, should the slave cylinder also be replaced? and again who should I be going to for parts?
