I'm planning to do a clutch re and re on my 75 308 gt4 in the near future and I have searched the archives but I'd like to clarify something. Is the only special tool I need the ring nut socket (Baum #102)? I'm not concerned about the alignment tool as I understand an MG one will work. Is there any other place to get the ring nut tool?

Also where would one get a clutch kit?. I'm not looking for a race setup, just a good reliable streetable clutch.

Blaine, we have the ring nut tools here: http://www.ricambiamerica.com/index.php?cPath=600_534

We also sell clutches, but at this stage, only the genuine Ferrari ones. They are expensive compared to the aftermarket ones, but a failure of an aftermarket one has made us a little hesitant to go there again. It may of course have been an isolated case or even installation error, but regardless, if we wouldn't put it on our car, we won't sell it. Not than anyone at Ricambi has a 308... we prefer low maintenance cars like 348s and Mondial ts :)

BTW I stopped buying baum tool castle nut removers because 1) they break when you us an impact wrench 2) it is faster and cheaper for me to make one as needed.

Man I love that tool. Yours is the creativity I like to see out of Ferrari owners. As a group we seem to be smart enough to buy these cars. Now we all need to get smart enough to keep them running without the Ferrari Tax.
