Has anyone had this happen to their car? I was shifting the aston martin into 2nd this morning, it wouldnt let me put the car in gear, and the clutch pedal was stuck to the floor. The car also idles really funny, and one of the engine lights is on. No fluid leaking anywhere and we just replaced the clutch recently. It is going to be worked on Monday.

Had that happen in an M3. Clutch Slave cylinder went out. I would check that first. You mentioned you recently had clutch service which means they hopefully flushed and bleed the clutch. I had a cylinder go out in my miata right after I changed the clutch and flushed the system. Luckily not to much in that department to go wrong so it will likely be easily to diagnose and fix. Clutch might just need to be bleed. I have had clutches disengage when there is an air bubble in the system.

    Best of luck.

My friend just sold his AM Vantage. The leather on the dash was shrinking, the door didn't line up anymore (dealer said settling), many other issues. Good news is that he didn't have any clutch issues. ;)
