    Ha Guys,
I just got my relined clutch plates back and after going through the manual I'm confused on how to set up the preload on my 88 testarossa twin disc. the manual is very vague on the hole set up procedure. Could any of you guys help me out with a step by step in English please!
    thanks,
    Bob

There is a simple math equation in the book. Just follow it.

I was never enamored with their procedure so I just do it by eye anyway and it works out better. Their method occasionally ends up with centrifugal force keeping the clutch disengaged at high RPM. Then you have to take it all back apart to reshim it.

Also I have never been happy with any of the relined double disc clutches. In this country it seems the lining material is a little thicker and a good set up height and range of travel is just not possible. Every one I have come in contact with went in the trash.
