I have a 1985 qv with 44,000 miles on it the clutch is going out.

the miles seem low to me for clutch to bad I have had sports cars with 3 to 4 times the miles and never had to replace a clutch.

    Is this normal

Not really, but it also all depends on how it was driven in the past.
But then it could be just an adjustment issue, they do need to be
    adjusted from time to time.

Is there a way to inspect clutch to see if it needs adjusted or is this about the same as replacing the clutch as far as labor goes
