    Simple question.

Going to have mine refinished shortly and need to know what color it is.

Thought it was silver, but pulling it out it looks almost like a 'champagne' color.

    Anyone have a paint code?

Of course Elliot would know. Duh...I should have thought of that.

..and right on cue! Thanks. Looks great.

Mine is definitely painted because, well, it's peeling. hahaha
I have had the car since 2010 and never really bothered to clean it as it looked pretty good.

    That looks great as well.

I have no idea what vapor honing is, but it looks like I am about to find out. :)

This may be a questions Elliot might be able to answer…

I’ve noticed that many UK cars have a clutch cover heat shield whereas Aus delivered cars do not. Was this a factory option?

Never made their way on Australia delivered F355, most of the ROW cars had them though a few iterations as well. For whatever reason our cars didn’t come from the factory with it.

Because it is never hot in Australia, so no heat shields needed? :D

US cars didn't come with them either.
It was more cooling duct that it was a heat shield.

Thats the Challenge car part. It was for sure more effective. The street car part only covered the lower part where there was no heat but a lot of fresh air but as I remember it it was shaped to catch some air from under the car.

Heat reflective material is on the clutch cover for when the Challenge muffler is mounted for tracks with noise restrictions...

In such a case, the clutch cover also acts as a heat shield.

There are 3 different clutch coolers in total. 2 street versions. 1 challenge version.
