Can anyone tell how much clutch is left from this pic? When I bought the car it supposedly had 73% left. Can someone point out which is the clutch material in the picture please?

See below the friction plate- its effectively a sandwich made up of a solid plate with organic friction material on either side that wears as the clutch slips.

Workshop manual should have info on original and minimum thickness.

Let us know what you find out! I'd love some external, empirical, physical verification that my X431 is reading correctly.

Do I understand though, that the PP or FW are not flat, but are in fact convex, and so the friction plate is less-likely to wear on the outer-edge?

They’re tapered concave so more likely to wear from the outer edge towards the centre.

    Ok! Good to know!
It looks like in the images you're showing a thickness of 7.25mm - 8.16mm. What's the measurement on a NEW disc? And what thickness is considered "100% wear"? Sorry, this has probably all been addressed elsewhere; I admit I haven't searched. I'm just following this thread.

Wsm says 5.95 mm for each side disk

Which doesn't make sense compared to the measurement

I think the pic will help Image Unavailable, Please Login

I thought 5.6mm was the number is that not the case? That's the value I have been using in my clutch wear calculation formula.
