I just got a quote from Lake Forest Ferrari for a clutch replacement. Parts; Clutch, pressure plate, bearing assy, o-rings. $1685.27. Plus labor; 9 hours I'm guessing at $120/hr?. I thought this was high until I call Cauley's Ferrari and the quoted me about $2,400 parts & labor. Are these typical prices for this work? Just want to make sure before I commit to a large bill.

The clutch kit is about $500 (disc, pressure plate, T.O. bearing). Qualified labor isn't cheap, and I don't think the first number ($1600) is too surprising.

You can get the parts for about $400-500 at George Evans, Ricambi etc. If you can work on cars, consider doing it yourself, it is not a particularly difficult job on 308/328. Any reasonable mechanic could do the job.

If you have a turbo as your name suggests, then I would suggest you consider at least a kevlar unit. Norwood has them for $710.00. Figure 1 day labor to do the job (including coffee and lunch breaks).
