I got to witness firsthand, the pure definition of a Gentleman today...

After Niptuck's NYU Show today, Clyde, myself and his 2 boys stopped at Wendy's for lunch on our way home. Upon leaving, we had a small mishap... a young woman backed into his car. Nothing terrible... minor front bumper damage , but absolutely no sheetmetal or paintwork needed. Clearly her fault as Clyde was stationary. These details are actuallly insignifcant. What I really wish to focus on, is how Clyde thought more of the woman's feelings, and how he tried to comfort her, and put her at ease. He was completely poised, relaxed, and made the best of a lousy situation. She may not realize it... but while however unfortunate it was for her to hit the nicest car in the lot... she couldnt have gotten a nicer guy to confront her. I simply looked on as a student of kindness and grace.

I raise my glass to you Clyde... you are a class act!

I have to say that in all this time knowing Clyde that he is exactly that a true gentleman and I am glad to consider you a friend. I too had alittle mishap today which resulted in a collision but there was no major damage just cosmetic ... well I will wait for the body shop to determine that before I pass judgement.

I second that. I had Clyde and the boys over one day at the beach house and he brought my wife a box of peaches, the boys were extremely polite and we even received a follow-up thank you card later in the week. A classy guy to the hilt.

    Awwww, I'm blushing :-$

And to be honest, I can't think of a single bad apple in the whole of the FChat family that I've met. Upstanding men & women one & all. East Coast, West Coast, Scuderia Rampage. What a group!

Bailey, sorry to hear about your bump. At least I got a girl's phone number, all-be-it rather drastically. Did you? :p

Clyde is by far one of the nicest, honest, and classiest guys I have ever met. He has proved himself to me and others time and time again. I am honored to call him my friend. I will always be there for him.

Ive had the pleasure of meeting you twice and both times getting to talk one and one. My career has me meeting dozens of strangers every day. I like to think of myself as a great judge of character.

That being said. I have to agree with Vik. They don't come any better. If the world had more individuals like you, it would be a better place.
