maybe i've been under a rock, but clyde did you get your car back on the road yet?
Parts were tough to find. She's back on all four wheels. She's been on "The Rack" and is straight. I'm promised she'll be primed this weekend. Then paint and I need to find a windshield & moulding. It's been a long an slow process. I miss her
Lets not talk about looong processes to get a Ferrari repaired. I think your guy is doing pretty good in such a short time period. I look forward to seeing your car back on the road again soon
Clyde, Glad to hear she's getting close to completion. Don't fret about how long it is taking. I know folks who had their car in the shop literally for years getting work done. A good friend of mine took his '70 XKE roadster to a shop in PA to have it repainted and a new interior installed. One and a half YEARS to get it completed! Here it is, the beginning of July, and you are close to having the paint and body work done. Then all that is left is the windshield and trim. Patience, you'll be back on the road soon. Are you planning on making it up to Watkins Glen for the Ferrari national meet Labor Day weekend? If not, hope to see you at the Fall Festival in Florham Park in September. Regards, Steve p.s. Did you check with Geoff at Partsource in Maine for the window trim? He seems to have all sorts of bits and pieces when I need them. Nice guy too.
Glad to hear she's coming along, Clyde. I seem to remember having a car like yours... (I need to get moving on selling her...)
