    The color on the model is the original as the real car was. It is a plain Maroon color no metallic.
    Good luck restoring the BBR model! Those BBR 250GTO are very nice, but only curbside!

    I have the red version of this model from CMC and many other models from CMC.
    They are all beautiful, but a few have already problems with theire paint. (diecast-cancer)
    So, I prefer resin/curbside models from BBR.
    My latest rebuild of a damage BBR 250 GTO :

    What a beauty, you done a super job! I have that same model built in 1/43 from AMR.
    Like you I was a builder mostly 1/43 and 1/20 version. Look at Facebook under Gebra43 there you see some of my build and other models.
    As for the CMC models having paint problems, I have not noticed any problems on my models. I have 10 CMC and 4 Kyosho versions.
    BBR version from 1/43 to 1/18 must be at least 50 different versions.
