    I'll probably pass, initially, on the the yellow 250SWB. As much as I love the SWB (in both 1:1 and in 1:18 from CMC), there are still other cars I "need" (still trying to explain that concept to the wife!) for my collection before I pick up $200 duplicates.

    The 500F2, on the other hand, is in the bag!

    Yeah… I know what you mean… my wife counts them every time she comes into my den. I want to expand the collection into yet another large display cabinet, and believe me I’m trying to make it happen… but it’s going to be awhile. Women just don’t know how to have fun in something.

    Sure they do; shoes, clothing, jewellery, shopping for it all, etc... Remind her of that the next time she starts counting your cars. ;)

    I'm really looking forward to the Birdcage. I have the SWB and just love it (fantastic detail, how could one not be amazed at even the gas cap door opening?) and can only imagine the level of detail they'll acheive of the Birdcage's chassis.

    I collect only Ferraris in 1/43 but i think that i will buy the Birdcage, AMAZING!

    What's the scale on the F2 Ferrari? 1/18? If so: MUST HAVE!

    Which Birdcage and scale are we talking here: Original or the prototype just released?

    The Birdcage model is the original...as far as I know.

    ^ So is the 375 hand built at the factory or is it a kit?


    Also, i emailed CMC yesterday asking about a comp. version of the SWB, they replied today saying they have no plans to make one :(

    The CMC 500 F2 pictures is a 1/12th scale prototype but they will produce it in 1/18th scale. As far as I know the BBR 375 Plus is factory built (just like the Enzo and just as expensive). I'm going for the Le Mans '54 version. I saw that one in action at Mas du Clos. Very nice!

    I searched their site, but the only 1:18 BBR model they list is the Enzo! Am I not looking in the right place?

    I absolutely remember...never forgot! I've emailed someone at Replicarz - I'm sure I'll hear from them later in the week since today was a "holiday."

    As for getting together, that'd be awesome. I'd like to head out to Manteca sometime to see Todd's shop, but I'm not sure when that'll be. After the drive out to Stockton on the Henry Tran Memorial Cruise (I'd never been that far out from S.J. since moving here - not to the Northeast, anyway), I realized that it's *far* away! Dayum far... ;)

    Anyway, thanks for the quick response - oh, and clean out your Inbox! I tried to PM you originally, but it was full, so I just posted here. :)

    I was comparing the photos with the BBR mock-up car... man... its dam close. Be sides Ferraris are all hand-built and not one will look the same as another. I will still buy one, two, hell maybe three! =)
