These are just the monitors for emissions. They just have tricks to get them to cycle to set on different cars. I did start it again tonight with the fuse panel open and saw a nice bright light after 20 seconds of starting the car - blew the fuse again. I read a thread saying even Ferrari said it's okay to run a 20 instead of a 15amp fuse so I put one of those in to see. Otherwise, I guess the pump is dying...
For info, there are no other items linked to that fuse other than the solenoid valve for the secondary air system. It looks like pumps are still available, albeit expensive. https://www.scuderiacarparts.com/part/6076/ferrari/165903/complete-electric-air-pump.html Other threads on the pump: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/355-cel-air-pump-failed.157114/#post-136854991 https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/secondary-air-pump-operation.459564/ (installation tips, plug repair) https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/145362940/ (A post mentioning replacement bearings. Not details on size, however)
I'm hopeful the 20amp fuse trick will buy me some time and then just do the pump along with my major in a year or so.
I wonder how accurate this post is? https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/135765138/ 30 amps? After seeing melted relay panels, I'd be reluctant to double the amperage.
Yea, I'm not going above 20 amps. I found a post on here that said even the Ferrari dealers were putting 20amp fuses in as they felt it was a design flaw to use a 15 amp one originally.
