    15+yr's ago I used to hit Cody's on Montrose, the view of downtown and the lights were great, yet I know thing's have changed so I would like to request some opinion's as to where to go after the concert saturday night, House of Blues, that is close to downtown? First date with someone I like alot so all suggestions will help yet I dont want to have to yell while carrying on a conversation.

    if you're interested in Steak if I may suggest Al Biernat's on Oak Lawn has bar none best steak in Dallas (maybe Nick & Sam's if you prefer younger crowd).. If you like Italian there's Taverna on Armstrong Avenue off Knox St/75. ... There's also Sangria (Spanish Tapas) on Mckinney Avenue literally five minutes walking distance from Taverna or if you're in the mood for Cuban food LA Cubanita is two doors up.. Taverna/Sangria/Cubanita all owned by same person. Food is AWESOME and can't go wrong ;)

    PS See, what happened is I'm member @ House of Blues in Dallas and thought you were in Dallas too LOL... ignore my post above unless you make it Dallas ;)

    Thanks anyway bro! We are having dinner at the HoB's resty before the show. I just want to be prepared if we decide to leave early and go have a cocktail, well actually her as I'm playing the good DD cause I will have precious cargo aboard.

    upstairs on the deck at red door. Not loud, good views, drinks are reasonable. Downstairs is a mad house of noise and 25k dollar millionaires, just go upstairs for a great view.

    Well ol' tex will be a lone wolf once again for a night out on the town but I'm still going to the show and then the Skybar. Two months of preparation and I get the last minute excuse.

    Something to do with her kids seeing their grandparents while they are here is what she told me yet her 15yr old son lives out of town with his dad and her 13yr old daughter lives with her. Discussing this with another female friend of mine she told that it was not acceptable for her to do that especially with the two month notice she had as her kid's are not baby's and arrangement's could have been made if she really wanted to go with me.

    I'm not gonna pass judgement on her because I dont know if it's true or not and ones family is more important than anything. Yet I told her 'you owe me' and she agreed that she does but it is the last time I ask her out that's for sure. So I guess this next week will tell me everything I need to know. I really like this lady but I'm not gonna be her puppet either. My b-day is saturday so I'm gonna play that card and see what happen's.

    Can't live with them and can't live without them which suck's.

    If you're looking to party party, nowhere in Houston is better than Nox or Reign, both in the washington area.

    If you're looking for a nice steak in a great outdoor setting at a crowded bar go to Mo's that place has single-handedly killed Smith and Wollensky's business and the thing I love most about MO's is the owner Jonny is always there taking care of everybody, he's not like the uppity owners of all the other nice places, he'll sit down and have a drink with just about anybody. I pulled in and went to get a table, they told me it would be a 30 minute wait so I turned around and started heading to the door and apparently he was standing at the valet when I pulled up and said where are you going, and I told him the wait was too long, he said I can't let a guy who drives a maserati take his money elsewhere hold on. He went and got a table and put it in the middle of aisle outside, it was great, he's an awesome business owner.
