Anybody have an opinion on these things? They seem to be a little pricier than the R&J Churchills I'm used to smoking but haven't had a chance to try them yet. The local shop (I'm in Kuwait at the moment) sells a variety of Cubans and I'm trying to expand my horizons a bit.

very nice smoke. cigar aficionado gives it a 91. "a toasty smoke balanced by notes of coffee bean, leather and wood. the finish is chewy. a complex medium to full bodied smoke'. at ring gauge 43 and 6 3/4'' it fits me quite well. my favorite is the corona espaciale. the big thing with the cohibas is to watch for fakes. one way is to check the bands. it should have square checkers. the fakes i've seen have had dots. also if possible check the production labels on the box. enjoy

If you're in Kuwait, Al Sawani "Casa Del Habanos" next to the Sheraton has a couple of boxes of The Black Prince (Discontinued) by Punch Punch which have been there for a couple of years so are nicely aged and also the Punch Punch boxes have been there a couple of years and they're very smooth. Highly recommend both these cigars from there.

The rest are fresh so need time to settle down. I am sure you've seen the bucketload of Limited Editions there.

PS: If you ever want to meet up for a smoke and a chat I'm up for it.

Xawier should speak here soon - he loves VI !

Personally think it's one of the best Cohibas , although I would turn myself into Esplendidos - similar taste but better draw for me .

I'm a huge fan of the Partagas #2. Any of the Aniversario Cohibas are great too.
