    Hey Guys,

I've decided to lower the ride height on my 1992 348 a bit based on some posts I found here.

I have the correct spanner wrenches from Ricambi. One to unlock the spring (Smaller Wrench) and one to adjust the ride height (Larger Wrench).

Question is, which way do you turn the threaded collars to loosen and then adjust the ride height?

I sprayed the threads and collars overnight with Liquid Wrench and WD40, but these babies will not loosen and I think maybe I am not turning them the correct way to unlock.

Please explain which way to turn the threaded collars.

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Nick,
I recently did the coilovers on my 355 and, assuming their the same, loosen the smaller lock nut by turning it to the left to break it free from the spring retainer nut. Sounds like you've got a knuckle buster going so gloves might help...good luck!

Looking up from the bottom of the assembly, counter-clockwise. (Make sure you've taken all the weight off the wheels also when doing this). In theory the lock ring should just be snug+ against the height adjusting one.
