Send them to me. If you dont hear from me again, it means that they're not worth anything. And dont mind the new F-Car on my driveway as well. :D

What coins do you have? Any idea? Do you know anything at all about collectible coins? How many coins are in the collection? I'd be happy to help you get an idea of what you have, but I need a lot more info :)

Yeah, like where do you live, where do you keep the coins at, the combination to the safe and what time you're usually gone! :D Oh, and don't forget to tie Fido up in the backyard when you leave!

I have the same problem with a stamp collection. If I have it appraised, I would have no way of knowing if a valuable stamp was removed by the appraiser.

Personally, I don't think I see anything after '22 that would be too valuable. However you may want to amend this list with the mint mark on each coin, a lot of the time where it was made can add substantial value.

That being said, I have a couple of Morgan's given to me by my grandmother that I don't ever plan on getting rid of. She's still around but it'll be a nice memento to have when she's gone. Clearly your grandfather put some time into this, I'd probably do some soul-searching before I jettisoned the entire collection.

I did go though it and have removed the items I want to keep as they are not listed.

Im not looking to get rich, just get out of debt and ready to buy a new home. thats why Im selling the coins, my car (Steeda Mustang Cobra w/ over 500hp), some baseball cards (mantles) and other collectibles I have.

    Every little bit helps.

If you have to sell it there are coinshows throughout the country where because of multiple vendors they would compete for your collection and as such have a higher value VS going into a lone shop for a sale.
Price of the top pieces are much higher for "perfect" pieces vs 95% for example so condition plays in as well.
Are the coins slabbed and graded ?

Nice list! Most of those coins, depending on the mint marks and grade of course, would be worth $15-30 or so each. The newer coins (1940 and up) are not worth as much, maybe a couple-3 each at best, depending on grade etc. The proof's are worth a couple dollars each, etc. The exceptions come in with errors and mint marks. Plus the rolls. Those can be hard to value, but sometimes bring big money if there is a possibility that there is a very high dollar coin in the roll, say a certain mint mark for that year, or an error in that year, etc. For instance, on that 1918 nickel, if it has a D mint mark and has the 8/7 error it is worth at least $800, maybe up to $15,000 or more if it's uncirculated.

But say there are no special mint marks or errors, I'd say the coin collection could fetch anywhere from $450-600 up to $2,000 maybe, depending on grades.

Also, who did the grading of the coins you have? It can make or break a coins value. Might be in your interest to have some of the coins professionally graded by PCGS or NGC.

I could probably find someone to buy the collection from you if you want.
