to tell you the truth, i never used to care.. i couldn't taste the difference.. i wouldn't get what everyone was saying.. but then i just kept drinking coke, and i tried to drink pepsi once (btw, this is all diet coke/pepsi) and i hated it.. it tasted so fake and gross and disgusting.. i'm one of those anoying people that asks if there is pepsi or coke at a resteraunt, and if no coke, i'll take a lemondae lol.. i drink around 2 litres of diet coke a day, from the cans in my hand all day long, to the foundtain diet cokes i drink at a resteraunt my friend owns, to the bottles at lunch or whaever.. its way too much i know, but it actually gives me a sense of calming.. peter
anyone want to send me some of that Vanilla Dr Pepper stuff. As a canadian we dont get any good kinds of pop, we get plain jain varities. Pepsi, or coke. Same stuff, more sugar or less sugar or waht ever
Now that stuff even SMELLS like a real coke doesn't it? I think its great, but interestingly my kids like the aspartamine Diet Coke better. My theory is that I grew drinking regular Coke so I imprinted on that taste and smell, and my kids for the most part grew up with diet Coke so they imprinted on that.
Coca-Cola. Haven't had Evil incarnate Pepsi in at least 10 years & would absolutely, positively, have to be dying of thirst before accepting it - even then, after soul-searching. Unless Halle handed me one. That's different. Watch the greatest TV ad, ever
*spits* - you're right, I've been corrupted. Trivia - the woman who played George's Mother Estelle Costanza (her real name is also Estelle) on Seinfeld had a yipping, yapping dog named P-psi. I can still hear it "Yip Yip Yap Yap Yip Yap."
It's just plain wrong. I drink water & lots of it. More water than anything else. BUT (Everybody I know has a big BUT) this is a Coke vs. Pepsi thread. So, if anyone has a choice only between those two - that's the choices they've got. Water is one of the ingredients in either The Real Thing OR The Crappy Imitation - question is - which one of Those Two would you choose? Oh, the humanity!
Always been coke. Its not like I HATE pepsi....if a restaraunt doesn't have coke I will turn to the darkside, however, I have never bought a pepsi when coke was available. That being said, on really hot days I crave Orange Crush.....
Hey! You changed my poll! What the Heck!!! No i'm just kidding jordan, its aight. lmao. well its good that your staying healthy at least. I might be goin to CC next week, hopefully i'll see you there!!
A few years ago I took short bike trip up to Traverse City MI for a night, they were having the Cherry Festival, so I figured, what the heck.... yes the Blue Angels were cool Anyhow I took the Pepsi challenge when I was up there, one drink was ice cold and carbonated, the other was flat and warm.... guess which was Coke?
i took the Pepsi/Coke challenge once... i blind folded myself and smelled the contents of the two cups; i didn't even drink any... The guy at the table got pissed and snapped at me, "you're not supposed to guess, you're supposed to tell me which one you like better...!" So i smelled them both again, pointed to the cup with Coke in it and said, "i like the way this one smells better..." i grabbed the cup and walked away... i am a total Coke snob... i almost always refuse to drink Coke from the fountain because it doesn't taste like REAL Coke... Over the last few years, i've been having "trouble" with the taste of regular Coke, so i switched over to Cherry Coke... That's been working out just beautifully... Though i'm only down to a few cans a day now, i used to drink as much as a twelve pack in one day or more than a two liter bottle - sometimes two two liter bottles...! Coke has been the principal suspect in the murder of many of my teeth...
well i say it has to be coke, i did the pepsi challenge once at a county show and chose coke!! so what more proof do you need ( at the time i thought i liked pepsi better, but i was young)
Yucccchhhh!!! Neither!!! Although I do use Coke to unclog my kitchen drain. Imagine what it does to your intestines. Sorry for the lecture folks, I could resist.
