    The factory system 'is' a cold air system and actually draws air from 'outside' the engine comparment :). It could use a few refinements but in its current configuration will work better than the ebay one. The one on ebay will draw all hot air from the engine compartment created by the headers and radiators ..... :(

    Don't know about you but this set up looks more like a HOT air intake..... :(

    Draws air from above the exhaust instead of clear air on the sides.... can't see how they can say "will not get hot air from exhaust" ..... It's sitting right over the exhaust top vent.....

    May be "slightly" freer flowing filters because of greater surface area in the filters but this would be well offset by sucking lots of hot air ...... 2 out of 10

    I am back on it Robbie ........... I was very productive this weekend :) .............. I will be flow testing freshly fabbed velocity stack shapes later today!!! The boxes themselves are nearly done and look fabulous .................... :D!!!

    The have dual BMC (i think that is the acronym) carbon canisters to replace the one air filter box for a cold air intake setup that I was going to try.

    Ahem, you do have another constituency awaiting an airbox project, sir. Lest you forget your 348 Brotherhood membership...

    Oh, what the he77, let's just fix the whole upper intake system restriction. :D You could start at the airboxes and get them ready for the upper intake, larger TBs and MAFs project. Just saying...

    Dude, if you wan't to trick/pimp out your car anymore than it already is, send a long list of things you want to do to it to GOTHSPEED, master of all things aftermarket that make your car go faster.com (Care of Skunkworks) along with a blank check, and he can help you out. Stay away from the ebay bolt on parts. They are HURT-ING.

    Every 348 comes with a factory cold air intake - how cool is that? :D

    That "thing" on eBay will only increase intake air temps and reduce hp.
