I'll admit that it doesn't get as cold in Central Texas as it does in other parts of the country but it was pretty chilly here this morning. The sun came out mid morning and melted the ice away by noon leaving us with a crisp sunny day. I took my TR out to lunch with another TR owner in my subdivision and all I can say is "WoW!". These cars perform much better in the cold than I would have ever thought. The RPMs came up quick and seemed to just want to keep climbing past the red line. I bet you guys in the cooler climates really enjoy your cars on sunny winter days.

    HA! Cold weather...
Come here and I'll show you cold weather my fellow TR driver...
It's so d*mn cold here that january ain't over yet that it's been decided that it is the 5th coldest ever recorded...So much for global warming!
Do I sound a little edgy? Sorry just had to vent.
Well good for you and enjoy it because global warming will prevent you from cooler air sooner than you think...I hope! LOL!

As my buddy told you, we decided to grab some lunch this afternoon and try to get through another brutally cold WINTER day here in Central Texas. Where anytime the temp goes below 35 degrees, we start hearing about Winter Storm Warnings and people start crashing into each other! I have attached some pics that will clearly demonstrate the incredibly harsh artic conditions that we had to deal with today! It was brutal but we decided to press on in the name of F-car drivers up North !

Hope that you enjoy the pictures. Smile! Spring is right around the corner!

Ok Ok, we did get some extreme cold last week...32 F....quite a bit of my landscaping got burned...even with coverings.

Had mine out Sunday morning for a good 45 minute run. 17 degrees, roads clean and dry, no salt dust.... Feels like extra boost with the cold dense air.. She ran as smooth as silk. ENJOY!!!!

You blokes have it easy, we would kill for some cool here this week.

    Tuesday 41, Wednesday 44, Thursday 44.9, Friday 45.

    That's centigrade temperatures. 45c is 113F

And we bl;ame the Americans and the Chinese for the glovbal warming........haha

I must say, the old girl didn't like driving into the city yesterday morning at 111 deg F. You would lift off the throttle and press the clutch in to change gears and the RPM would rise up to 1500 revs all by itself. And at other times you were cruising down the freeway at 100 km/ph and have to brake because the car kept creeping up in speed. If you gave the throttle a quick blip as you pushed the clutch, it would idle down to 1100, but it was very tricky to drive in such heat.

Windows down and no AC running. The only way to really feel a blast furnace in the face!

    Dear Ferraristi,

    Beautiful pix guys !

I tell you, the Testarossa is still the coolest of the cool!

No other Ferrari "does-it" for me !

I do like the topless gal there. I'm surprised you can't see her "high beams" with that cold weather. :D

Now that was funny!!! Good one Shamile. We should have gotten those headlights on when we took that "opened up" pic and exposed all.

Few things are sexier than a cut TR. Thank you for posting those pictures. I fall in love all over again every time I see a Testarossa Spyder.
