I have a question regarding Ferrari's that are collectible cars like the Daytona, Dino, 250, 330 etc. These cars were notorious for rusting body panels and even body frames and they went through extensive body repairs in the past. Would these cars be considered salvage title, in today’s regulations, by the DMV?

Big difference in the planned replacement of corroded metal and the rapid deformation of a collision.

Any repair if it stays out of insurance companies oversight won't show up on a title. So you could total a car and pay for it out of your pocket and the title stays "clean".

LOL had to laugh at that Bubba. Reminded me of a time a buddy and me in new Cadillac we rented in Las Vegas in 1983 or 4. Had a sight off road experiance in that baby....twice.
