you consider changing majors yet? that thought is always in the back of my mind, though i dont think i'd ever do it. it must be great to be a business or poli sci major. All that extra time and easier classes would sure be great! btw, nice 944. if i ever save enough $ i'd consider an S.
Finished High school in 94 Went to Colledge for automotive repair training Went back to Colledge for automotive electronics training I'm now a fully licenced serivice technician..who works on exotic cars of all types. had my Ferrari at age 25 i'm now 29. This year I should have my own service shop repairing high end cars and exotics. Ferrari was financed over 3 years...now fully paid for.
I sometimes joke to my wife about changing majors, but I know I won't. I am getting ready to start Calc 3, Diff equations, and the second Physics class next week. The break has been nice. Thanks for the compliment on my car. The S is sweet. It has about 30 more horses than my reg turbo.
I'm sorry about you getting deferred. It would be cool to know another F-Chat member at Penn! But like you said, you still have a shot, so best of luck! As they say, the system has a weird, and painful, way of putting people where they belong most of the time. If you're good enough to be considered by Penn, you're gonna wind up at a great school, wherever it is. Best of luck for April! You may be a Fighting Quaker yet
(1) Occidental College, Los Angeles. Major: Diplomacy & World Affairs (2) Manage software consulting biz (J.D. Edwards) (3) Is my career related to my college studies of civil war in Angola? Gee, not exactly... (4) cash is king.
I remember when i got waitlisted to my first choice when i applied early. Good thing i didnt because i ended up at another teir one school that i like more that is equal academically with an equally as good engineering program to my first choice. Things sometimes have a way of working out for the better.
Okay guys, I'm a little curious to see where you Ferrari owners (and other members of the board) went to school. If you can list your degree, and profession, I think it could be useful to those such as myself! Jay-Currently attending Jr. college transferring to UC Riverside for a business major. Planning on selling loans when I finish college, and hopefully real estate investment.
Near high-school drop out here. I hated school, as I always knew I wanted to be in sales. I was one of the very lucky ones where not having a higher education effected being prosperous in later life. As for you, stay in school and get a good education. On the side, get a part time job in the field that you would like to get involved with. Do what you love and the money will follow. PS: Don't sell networking with friends short. Make as many contacts as you can and keep a log. For your peers that you feel will really do well in life, stay friends with them and learn from them.
I start senior year of HS in September and i hope to go to Villanova University and get my degree in Finance. Then who knows.
