Picked up these the other day. Thought I was buying a 1:18 ish scale model and when I got there he had 2 for sale and they are huge !!! Has anyone got any info on them ? They seem to be handmade as they came from the same vendor originally but are slightly different. 1 is 32" long and the other 34!. Also 1 has 4 engine catches either side and the other has 3 !! Seats are real leather and the rivets on the hull are slightly raised so detail seems to be very good. I would be thrilled if anyone knew where they came from and roughly what they are worth? Thanks. I used to sell those and other vintage racing boat models here in the USA. I'm 99% certain that those 2 models you bought were/are made by the same factory in South Vietnam that I was buying from and representing. The factory is still making those exact models today. They also make smaller and even larger versions of the Ferrari racing boat. Value is only approximate, and keep in mind they are still being made..... $300. to $600. USD. They can be bought (retail) for well under the $600 figure.
Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I will probably sell one of them and try and find a place to display the other one. I have been after a model of this for a long time, just wasn't expecting it to be as big!! lol

Raced in Formula1 for Jaguar and Prost. Had a brief stint as a testdriver for Ferrari after that. Now into oblivion.
I have one too. Very good quality for a very low price compared to BBR. Just slap some BBR wire wheels on them and it's hard to notice the difference. Also, it's metal.
I agree. Of the models I have bought recently the KK Scale 365 and the Bburago 488 were the ones that most surprised me, in a good way ! The paint work and colours on the 488 are outstanding and it doesn't look out of place surrounded by BBRs, Autoart etc.
A few more I picked up recently. All are 1:18 scale. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

A few models picked up recently. The Ford is limited to 252. The Ferrari Tre Diviso I didn't even know existed and seems to be quite rare. Also got my hands on the new CMC Jaguar C Type.
