Color Question (matte paint) Aluminio / Argento

Question:

If you put matte PPF (like Xpel Stealth) on Argento Nurburgring, would it look like Aluminio Opaco?


I really like the Aluminio Opaco color, but I’ve read that matte paints can be a bear to maintain. So I was wondering if I could achieve the same look by putting a matte PPF over Argento Nurburgring.

Has anyone seen that before? Does anyone know how close the two colors are?

I’m looking at used cars, which is why I’m not considering putting matte PPF over Aluminio (paint may already have issues). Also, Argento is just a much more common color.
