I have been looking at 355's for a bit waiting on the right car. I like the red/tan combo but the wife likes the blue/tan better. As she is game to get another car into the garage I would like to get one she will enjoy but it seems the blue cars sit on the market for ever. Why is this color so unpopular???

I'm sure blue doesn't sell as fast as red or black, but it looks great on 355s (as does yellow). I'd say buy it at a good price, make the femme happy, then if you decide to sell you'll have slightly less in it than the guys who bought red or black.

If you get involved in Ferrari shows (FCA/FOC events), you'll be glad to have something other than red.

If you are buying your first ferrari then chances are you want a red one.....

If you are on your second or third any colour goes....

Blue is a good choice for the 355, you can say it's the 'Schumacher' edition (I believe his specially produced 355 was blue)....

But that aside, the correct choice would be yellow :D

Hmmm................well since the Schumi 355 pics I've seen have all been monochromatic, therefore it is safe for me to say..... .........Shumacher's 355 is nero!!....... :D

When I bought my black/tan 355 4 years ago black was looked down as one of those bad colors for resale. I got a deal on it, and now people offer to buy it at car shows because they are unique and harder to find.

Now I think black is in more demand that red (since so few cars were made black!)

My point is that demand for different colors changes and in the end you are the one driving it and who cares about resale. I mean when you get the 12k bill for a 30k service that last thing on your mind will be "hmmm, I wonder how long this car will take to sell!"

If you can afford a ferrari drive the hell out of it and dont worry about anything else!!
