Hi, Speccing my 458 soon and not sure if I should spec it in default red or yellow. Thinking of greyish shade. I had Grigio Silverstone and red interior on my 599 before. Can anyone show me pics of 458 in Canna di Fucile and Grigio Scuro? Can't be sure from the configurator. Thanks in advance. Regards
Here is Canna di Fucile then Grigio Scurro. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think it will look really nice in Grigio Ingrid with burgundy interior... here is a very nice grey (silverstone??) http://www.flickr.com/photos/anyett/4697024348/in/set-72157611780168228 I also like this in Rosso Fiorano (??) http://www.flickr.com/photos/anyett/4768776002/in/set-72157611780168228/ another red shade http://www.flickr.com/photos/anyett/5492811754/in/set-72157611780168228/
Are you absolutely sure about that red is indeed Rosso Fiorano? See the toughest part is that the Ferrari configurator is not very good at portraiting the actual color on the car. Rosso Fuoco, as well as Rosso Maranello are very similar as well..... can someone here actually post actual pics of each color please....cause I am getting more confused about this
See the coupe on the right shouldn't it be Grigio Medio or Ferro instead? Cause Grigio Scurro looks a lot darker than this.
No, it's Grigio Scuro. It's possibly the showroom lighting throwing you. Here is the same car from the rear vs a Grigio Medio car. Here is a link to another Grigio Scuro car http://www.compucars.co.uk/used-cars/ferrari/458/for-sale/?1891039 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That last one needs a stencil on it reading "property of the US Navy". In think any of the metallic grays look excellent. You can't go wrong with any of them. The non-metallics are an acquired taste.
I think it is Fiorano. Maranello is a three layer of a more 'candy apple' hue. Right about the configurator. It is a disaster on color fidelity. A disgrace.
