I was in Vail today and saw some of the Grand cars unloading and preparing for the event. I met up with an old friend that is in the Grand and he said they start Tuesday with lunch in Walden and overnight in Steamboat. he also mentioned that they will stay another night in Steamboat but could not remember which night. He also mentioned that there will be 6-8 GTOs! There was a Silver one in the parking garage being rejetted.

Sounds like a good year. I plan on flying in to catch some of the cars. They say thunderstorms are possible all week, but we will see. I thought the race is pre 1960, and yet they allowed the GTO's and have allowed many other post 1960 cars on previous years(not complaining!!!).

Humina humina humina...OMG, those are some gorgeous cars. Love the Aston Martin.

I will be in Vail Friday night and over the weekend. I'll be the guy with the hand out, "Hi I'm Furman, do you FerrariChat?". Maybe I'll wear my yellow Ferrari shirt.

I look forward to meeting you guys in Vail.

To those of us who enjoy these wonderful, old cars, the Grand really is something special. Glad I live here.

The RMR Ferrari club members plan on meeting at 7:30 a.m. at the Morrison exit park-n-ride just as I-70 starts to climb into the foothills. If you get off at that exit, make a right turn at the bottom of the exit and then an immediate right turn again into the Park-N-Ride lot.

Hope to see many Ferrari's Saturday morning!

Great, if I get my group to leave Arvada at that time, the police will be busy by the time we get to them.

A very nice bunch of cars. Some of which I recognized immediately because I've raced against them in the Historic Challenge. Thanks to all the owners who participate. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't ideal on Saturday morning for the display. It gets me thinking about next year's event...
