Hi All, here’s an interesting one for you. My 612 is in abu dhabhi blue with a cuoio Daytona interior. The colour combination is stunning. The seatbelts are a tan colour. I have seen images of a similar car but with combo blu seatbelts however. I think the contrast is stunning and am tempted to try and get a como blu set. I believe with fitting this will come to over 2500 Euros from Ferrari. Does anyone have any general thoughts on my idea? Secondly any suggestions on how this might be done more cost effectively are welcome. I feel like I should stick with Ferrari parts but of course am grateful for all advice. Thanks

When I think of coloured seatbelts, all that comes to mind are terrible, garish Porsche interiors.

Thanks for being the first to reply Robin... I agree it isn’t for everyone. However this is the sort of thing I was impressed by and am therefore contemplating:

Thanks for not being offended! The teal blue on tan is certainly unusual. Not for me I’m afraid.

To do the job cost effectively, my advice is to find out who makes the OEM parts (TSW would be my guess based on some of the other parts they made for Ferrari). Then see if you can buy direct from them or from any other manufacturers they supply to.

Why not just do what you want and not be concerned what other people's opinion will be. Keep the factory belts to replace if the new owner does not like what you have done. As for cost see if you can source the belts from someone other than Ferrari. The belts have to meet minimum safety requirement standards in your country and it does not matter if you do not source them from Ferrari.

Robin, thank you so much for all your help and suggestions. I will definitely see if I can source the belts from TRW... fantastic guess by the way! Will let you know how I get on

Thanks Frosty... I will of course go with my own preference but it’s great to hear the sentiments of this knowledgeable community. My real question was absolutely around cost and it seems both you and Robin recommend going for the OEM parts circuitously or going for a good aftermarket belt.... both of which I will now definitely pursue. Thanks

I knew you could buy the webbing. Do they do stitching as well? You can also see in all 3 pics that the buckle is colored to match the belts. Not sure if they have that part or not but it shouldn't be too difficult to 3D print a new plastic cover.

    Hi Jerry,
Many thanks for the hint here. I may look at similar European providers. The problem I see is that nobody seems to do a blue that is close enough to the como blue I am after. However, can’t argue at that price.
@John, you are right that the buckles should match. That will be the next hurdle after getting matching webbing.

    Many thanks guys
