I've got an '83 QV and have noticed that my column switches are not like the ones on the other two '83 QV's that I have looked at. I don't know if they are from an '85 or a 328. They work perfectly well but the wiper switch has a 90 degree rotation function that apparently doesn't do anything on my car.

So does anyone else have an '83 with these type switches? My car was a July build.

Those are not correct for your model.

Okay consensus appears to be - 328 switches. Not a problem for me as they work fine plus the pedals, garage door opener and carbon fiber intake tube would disqualify me from any concours anyway. If it detracts from the value of the car well, that will something for my heirs to worry about. I was just curious as to their origin.

Paul, We are just Razzing you. Please don't take it personal. I'm sure the turbo in my engine bay eliminates me from concurs as well.

There was a time when you could no longer get the 308 switches new BUT could get the 328 switches so I'm sure that's what happened at some point in your car's history. There was a problem with the original switches and someone decided to just install new ones.
