Correct. Opposite for the 96 and on.

To keep things simple, those cars with a shock absorber symbol at #2 are in comfort mode with the light on (which as far as I know are the three-pedal cars 95-98), and those cars with the written text "Sport" are in the sport setting with the light on ('97 and '98 F1 models and all '99 cars--F1 and stick)
