I decided to take the scenic route and took Highway 9.
All was well until right before Saratoga. Those of you that know the road, it makes a double S downhill with a sharp right hander up a little steep hill with a double dip and quick drop immediately following...
Well, I bottomed out on top of the crest and crushed my left front fiberglass undertray and the gravel guard... doh!!

Anybody know of a used fiberglass undertray?

Oh man! Sorry to hear that - I know exactly where that happened. I almost knocked myself out once (literally) coming up that very same steep portion. I was in my Corvette, and was hard on the "go-pedal" coming out of the last turn before the spot that injured your 348. I actually came out of my seat (seatbelt on, of course) and slammed the top of my head on the frame of the targa top. I saw some stars, but luckily remained conscious.

Best of luck for a quick, and hopefully affordable, fix.

Fiberglas undertray is $306. Still quoting the gravel guard.

I will try to fix it myself. Now where is my floor jack?

$306 expensive? I suppose it is all relative, I would hate to buy one for a 360. Sorry for your bad luck. If you don't have much experience in fiberglass, try a body shop, although they will probably charge close to what a replacement will cost you. Good luck!

    ok, got the parts.
$60 for the gravel guard and $320 for the fiberglass undertray.

Stupid expensive bump... Now I just have to install everything.

Parts cost seems (relatively) reasonable, good luck on the DIY! Can't be any harder than my weekend project (alternator R&R on my 750... good news it's a V12 stuffed into an engine bay designed for an 8 :)

    Best!
    Ben.
