with a curved screen! Apple Reportedly Developing iPhones with Large Curved Screens for 2014, Enhanced Touch Sensors for Later Models - Mac Rumors
I don't see the point of having a curved screen. Also, I'm not interested in carrying around a phone the size of a tablet, the galaxy note is ridiculous looking.
i agree: i am not sure what the benefit of a curved screen is. perhaps it will better fit the contour of one's back pocket. the samsung phones are selling well, so there does appear to be significant demand for more screen "real estate"
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 (6.3" screen for its name) is ridiculous imo. I have never seen anyone carry that around. 5" so probably be the most I think would be comfortable to carry around.
I have a Galaxy Note 2. It's huge, especially with the thick extended battery back I have for it. I knew what I wanted, and since nothing like it exists on the market, I chose this as the best compromise. It's uncomfortable to hold up to my ear. So I use headphones, wired or wireless. It's a bit big for my pockets, but that's ok, I can live with that. In exchange for these compromises, I get all of these benefits: great speaker sound quality, huge screen and huge fonts that make it easy to use, lots of Android freedoms that IOS does not deliver, and a big display for maps, surfing, games, sketching my ideas out on, and a great camera for pics and Skype. Have had two iPhones before. Much happier with the screen size and OS on the Samsung.
I love most things about my iPhone but I need a bigger screen. If they don't come out with a larger form factor, I am going to have to make the jump to Galaxy. The S4 has a 5" screen and is fine. 5.5 is pushing the boundary for me but is still very usable.
i am thinking the curved screen will be used on the upcoming i-watch. not so sure it makes sense to put it on the iphone.
