    Bravo!!!!! Forza Ferrari!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any one notice that they had the wrong flag hanging behing JPM durring the podium festivities?????

Speaking of JPM, What a cry baby and poor sport. He thinks that it is wrong for MS for fight him for position yet he ends up doing the same to RS..... JPM is the largest idiot on the F1 grid at the moment... JMHO

And BAR Honda proved once again that they needed to get rid of Villeneuve in the biggest possible way.

Great start. And those were the best podium interviews we've had in awhile. JB was so enthusiatic. JPM whining. MS being his cool, analytical self, undaunted by Juan but praising JB.

David Hobbs said it best: Montoya is unappy that Michael put him in the grass at 40 mph, but he put his teammate Ralf off track at 150 without much thought.

    I still prefer NASCAR.

All I can say is, I'm glad Button and BAR are doing so well, because as much as I like all things Ferrari, I could do without the one-man thrashing every other weekend.

I've always been a JPM fan, but he really does test the loyalty of his devotees from time to time. His post-race comments, if intended to affect Schumi in any way, only seemed to humor him. There was perhaps a time in his first season when Montoya got into Michael's head, if even in the slightest bit. Whatever it was, it's completely gone now. Juan is going to have to reclaim any kind of swagger rights on the track, not in the pressroom.

So, how much has Ralf's 2005 contract diminished so far? This guy better get something signed--and FAST--before he ends up a pay driver at Minardi.

I was really surprised at JPM's comments. He's obviously talented and quick, but there was no way he was going to run with MS today. Michael's fastest lap was 1.4 sec better than Montoya's. Even if Juan had made the pass stick on the first lap, he would have been no factor as the race went on.

How about Michael's 5.44 points per total race starts average? Simply awsome!!

I loved JPM's comments. Not that they were smart, but I knew it would stir the chatter's pot. JPM is becoming Eddie Irvine, big mouth with mixed results, hehe.

I agree with Gilles: Mr. 20% better finds a deal for Ralf or he'll be polishing the family collection in Kermpen for a living.

Did anybody see Rubens? Was he actually in Imola or out to lunch?

    What a race!!
When Michael really got to Jenson at the beginning, I was so nernous that wasn`t able to shut my eyes for a moment.
Oh yeah what a start...You don`t know how happy I was went Micheal protected his position on JPM.
I always thought JPM is poor loser...and today we saw it again. He is jealous too. Did you guys saw when he put Ralf into the grass. Juan has nothing to say.

I was really surprised by the Renault`s today. Trulli really was dominate..and Alonso from no where at the end, comes out on his last stop and gets in front of Trulli and Barrichello.

Now I have a question...do you think what Alonso did to Ralf was okay? I think not...Well too bad for Ralf, he had a great race in my opinion.

If you challenge that move then you would have to black flag MS for what he did to JPM in the first lap.

Truth is in that 90 degree turn you automatically end up towards its right exit, so MS didn't push JPM out (he also didn't try to avoid that), but hold his line. Same goes for Alonso.

I totally hate it, when the FIA and its marshalls try to regulate a GP. They ruined the last US GP for us with the decision against JPM and based on that have become more careful by this season's post racing scrutiny. Personally I rather let the boys go race and duke it out. If you regulate too much, the willingness to take risks and try a pass goes even more down.

i agree in some respects. For today's race, I'm willing to bet if the roles were reversed JPM would have caught the ire of the race marshals. Sometimes it does seem like MS gets away with things.

No, not really. An interesting first lap, then little more than pitstop passing through the rest of the event. Good on Michael, etc., but JPM has a point about MS style of racing.

I was diasppointed in RB, but it seems that all the faster cars were at an aero disadvantage when trying to pass slower cars in front.

I'm glad to see Button doing well, it's nice to see someone with some enthusiasm get on podium. Also good to see KR finally finish a race and get a point.

JPM claimed that MS "bumped" him onto the grass and even the interviewer seemed to question his veracity when he asked about "damage" to his car. Did anyone see the cars actually come together? I thought both moves, MS against JPM and JPM against RS were well within F1 racing traditions. RS really spun himself by turning into FA, IMHO, but the stewards are still looking at that, right?

Kimi finished in 8th place, and perhaps the only real reason for finishing there was Sato melting down his Honda with 5 laps to go.

Montoya is just SO full of crap.

Video replays CLEARLY showed that, on the first left hander of their little "battle", MS was on the inside, close to the apex, and JPM, on the outside, obviously came down on & chopped MS, and touched wheels with him. As they tracked out towards that corner's exit point, MS, still on the racing line (heck, even Hobbs & Matchett commented on this as it was happening that MS had the proper exit line) and, because JPM had forced his way down on MS, on the outside, he was thus on the ***** end of the stick at exit...and was pushed wide, past the curb & onto the grass. His attempeted pass of MS on the outside, and his obvious chop of MS, causing contact, totally invalidates his girly, unseemly whining to anyone & everyone afterwards...and is also l;ikely the reason that MS didn't take the bait in the press conference--he KNEW what the replay tapes would show.

Montoya ought to be ashamed of himself. He heeds a SERIOUS lesson in growing up, ASAP.

Montoya's attempted move on Michael was never going to come off. Michael was on the racing line, and despite what Juan says, he was never along side him.
That sort of stuff may have worked in ChampCar for Juan, but not here....
Brundle said as much...it was Schumacher's line, he was always ahead, and and it was a presumptuous attempt by Montoya plain and simple. Just how much room did he expect to find on the right ?
At the end of the day though, you can't fault Juan for trying, knowing that his car is not the equal of the Ferrari, he figured it was a now or never shot, and he tried it...that is what makes Montoya the exciting driver he is....but to slag Schumacher on air, did not impress. To me he came off as a sore loser in that regard.
I can understand why he might be frustrated, but I don't agree with him
Oh.....great to see Jenson with a third straight podium !!!
and....did Mclaren even show up ?

JPM's act is really wearing thin. I think he really believes his own hype. Looks like the best thing that could happen to Williams is two new drivers for next season. Although I'm beginning to wonder if Ralph will finish this season with a Williams drive!
