Sorry, but due to the unbelievable number of commercials during SpeedTV's coverage of prctice and qualifications, especially one...I am just a tick away from loosing my mind. I am sick to death and will NOT go out and see "Hot Tub TIme Mahine". Not now, not ever. No way, no how.
Did anyone take a count on how many times it played?
If I see that commercial one f*ing mor time, I swear, I will go uncontrolably postal.

Soon getting annoyed at the frequency of times it ran, I started muting the TV as soon as the live coverage would cut to commercials.

Eventually I reached a point of semi-consciousness, given the hour (2-3am Eastern DST), but found myself getting a mini-adrenaline rush/ rage whenever the Hot Club Time machine commercial aired that actually help fight the drowsiness, enabling me to see the end of qualifying, though had to turn off the tv and crash before the press conference.

DVR is the only way to go. Actually the Hot Tub movie was shownh as the first advert and the last advert of seemingly every break it became a great trigger for fast forwarding through the advertisements.

However, to hopefully stop this relentless repetiton of the Hot Tub promo, or its replacement, before racing moves to a time when viewing is live Speeed Channel is going to get a note of complaint.

It won't accomplish anything other than making me feel that I at least tried to do something.

Then don't watch the channel. I haven't seen a speed broadcast in 5 years, I'd rather watch the BBC feed or even a Chinese or Japanese internet broadcast than listen to the three puppets on speed-channel.

+1000 I refuse to watch Speed. I get far more variety of motorsport and much better commentary via the net anyway...

High def computer feed ? Let me know when that happens, in the meantime enjoy paying through the nose to the cable/satellite service. I get my racing for free, no need for cable/satellite.

I was just about to lose my mind along with you. Why so many commercials?

    "Oh, rain drops. Commercial!"

"Look! The track is green! Commercial in 3, 2, 1..."

F-1 is being filmed in HD this year but not aired in HD yet.

I quit watching Speed channel last year mid-season.I was so frustrated it forced me to find a better way,

Now I am VERY happy !

unfortunately, my home theater is not set up for computer feed. For me my choices are limited, either watch in my home theater with a 1080i front projector on a 120" screeen sitting on a very comfortable couch or sit in fornt of my computer in my office on an 18" LCD.

Why can't Speed use a picture box while a commercial is on so we don't miss any action. It's done for Indy Car Racing.

We need an 'F1 Time Machine' to take us back to a time before politics and BIG money ruined it...

The sad thing is, guys, if we didn't put up with commercials, guess what we would NOT be seeing on TV??

Do you remember when FOX took over nascar from ESPN?
FOX blurred out the race cars' sponsors on the hoods and sides, trying to get those sponsors to also ante up some cash for showing their cars in each race. That didn't last long.
