   I was looking over a 348 Speciale yesterday and it had some bubbling around the rear pillar/rear fender joint. Haven't found this on mine yet but it does seem to be prevalent.

   Sounds suspiciously like stress-corrosion and metal fatigue. I know a few similar areas when "normal" cars (like the good old Escort MkII !) get tracked or rallyed. Usually at base of "A", "B" or "C" pillars.
