Comp Air 12?

Never heard of it before. I (just) saw that someone in the "Show your plane" thread had posted one and in doing research I can't figure out if it's actually a thing or a stalled project. Was flying around in a clients PC-12 last week so kinda timely to run across this "PC-12 killer."

Did it make it into production? If not, why? It looks great on paper and indeed would put the Pilatus to shame.
