It’s being sold from an estate. Does anybody know who the owner was?

I saw this car several times when owned by Dutch Ferrari importer Frits Kroymans. Here it is in his cellar (part of his dealership) in 1993. Notice it wasn't fully converted yet.

The car has been shown at the Miami Concours the last couple of years. Lots of non-factory parts used in the conversion - but then again with only 5 series 3 comp cars made can’t imagine the owner had much of a choice!

Yes, we saw this car on Wednesday in Clearwater Fl and it had one of his "Ferraris on line" placards in the car. I had no idea I was in the "Mecca of Historic Racing" and that we were visiting David Hinton's shop Heritage Motorsports. I did however know I was somewhere special just based on what I could see with my own eyes, it was amazing. Author and racer, John Starkey was such a gentleman to meet us there. I think there will be some cars from this collection coming sooner than later. So very glad we had a chance to visit and that David Hinton does what he does for the sport. I'm sure this must be one of the best converted Daytona's available based on where it is and who maintained it.

I saw a comment about vintage racing. Unfortunately, the Ferrari Historics series no longer exists. But, if it did, they would never let a converted street car run in the series. Sorry, that was the rule.
