    Hi, all.

    I hope all of you had a great New Year, Christmas, and Holiday Celebration.

    Please join me, OnTheLam, FinancialMan, and other F-Chat members for an upcoming ballet event, hosted and performed by Company C Ballet, in Walnut Creek, California.

    OnTheLam's wife, who is an executive director for Company C, invited me to watch the dancers practice a couple of weeks ago, and they are amazing -- a splendid mix of classical and contemporary ballet movements:

    Date: Saturday, 26-Jan-08
    Time: 2000 hours PST
    Location: Lesher Center For The Arts, Walnut Creek, California
    Cost: approximately $25
    Purchase tickets by calling: 1-925-943-7469. You can also purchase your tickets by visiting the following website: http://www.lesherartscenter.org/. Click on the "Company C Fifth Anniversary Celebration" link on the upper right. Make sure you get tickets for the 26th-Jan-08.

    Just landed in California a few hours ago. Still getting my equilibrium back from a wild stay in Hong Kong. I would love to join y'all at the ballet. Thanks for the invitation. Will be in touch & coordinate, fellas. Guess I'll have to dust off my tutu...

    Welcome back! It's been a long time. I want to catch up with you when I see you at the ballet. I'm glad all is safe and that you had a wonderful time celebrating the New Year and the Holidays.

    ROCK STAR! Melia and I will be in my truck due to flooding and road closures fri night. And the fact that my fun car is in the shop in many pieces!

    AwooO! Vijay's table-dancing antics aside, the hi-light of that evening was the cop we scared into hiding. Alfonso, you should have been with us for the blast out of Mill Valley.

    Many thanks to all the FChatters who came out to WC for the big night. I had a blast and I hope you did too. I also learned that, not only do Lamborghinis not melt in the rain, neither do Ferraris, contrary to popular rumor. Thanks to those of you who brought exotics in iffy weather, braving the elements.

    Justice, great event! Thanks for introducing Company C Ballet. Absolutely great performance. Driving back on 680 braving the storm was a different story, let's just say that at times it was more scary than our Coalinga (spelling?) drive.

    Sting -- Funny, I kinda liked blasting along in the downpour . . . it takes a lot to get the LP loose, but a half inch of standing rain on the freeway will definitely do it. Fun!!!

    The other funny thing was the Ferrari guys who didn't know how to locate the controls for their windshield wipers . . . ? (You guys should get out more!)

    Ben, it was great to meet you at last. It was a super group of folks. I assume the only reason I didn't witness any table dancing was because you got shy with all the real dancers around?
