Hi, all. I hope all of you had a great New Year, Christmas, and Holiday Celebration. Please join me, OnTheLam, FinancialMan, and other F-Chat members for an upcoming ballet event, hosted and performed by Company C Ballet, in Walnut Creek, California. OnTheLam's wife, who is an executive director for Company C, invited me to watch the dancers practice a couple of weeks ago, and they are amazing -- a splendid mix of classical and contemporary ballet movements: Date: Saturday, 26-Jan-08 Time: 2000 hours PST Location: Lesher Center For The Arts, Walnut Creek, California Cost: approximately $25 Purchase tickets by calling: 1-925-943-7469. Make sure you get tickets for the 26th-Jan-08. After you purchase your tickets, please call or email me to let me know, so I can look out for you. Thanks, in advance, for supporting Company C Ballet, and I look forward to seeing you there! Check 6. /s/ Alfonso Faustino
Thanks, Alfonso, that was really thoughtful. By all means, come on down, the more the merrier! I think we have 10 or more FChatters coming at this point. Justice
Just landed in California a few hours ago. Still getting my equilibrium back from a wild stay in Hong Kong. I would love to join y'all at the ballet. Thanks for the invitation. Will be in touch & coordinate, fellas. Guess I'll have to dust off my tutu...
Ben, it would be nice to meet you finally. If you can't make it, I'll see you at one of the drives. Justice
Ben!!! Justice!!! Alfonso!!! What's up, Brothers?! I did not make it to Bangkok but I was in Bangalore, India for New Year's Eve... hahaha Let's go to the ballet! Sounds kinda cool
Hey Vijay -- I am jealous! I'd love to see India one of these days. I hope you had an awesome time. I predict you will find Company C appealing. I do! We've got to get that KoenigTR dusted off and back on the road, too. It's been missing you, I'll bet. Justice
Yeah, Justice, I really missed the car and the gang... Looking forward to seeing you soon! And sadly, I don't think that my tutu will be any more revealing than those guys in the tight pants that we'll see on stage with Company C... hahaha
You are welcome, OnTheLam. Thanks for you and your wife exposing me to Company C -- I had a great time during the practice session; hence, the reason I want to expose this event to others. ;-) Check 6. /s/ Alfonso 90KoenigTR, Welcome back! It's been a long time. I want to catch up with you when I see you at the ballet. I'm glad all is safe and that you had a wonderful time celebrating the New Year and the Holidays. Forget the tu-tu -- Atherd, others, and I want to see you bar-table dance in your man-kini -- like you did when we all tore up the 2am Bar in Mill Valley, California at 0100 hours on a Saturday night. Check 6. /s/ Alfonso Artherd -- please do all you can to make this -- you will have a great time! Check 6. /s/ Alfonso 90KoenigTR, You will definitely enjoy this ballet company. A lot of action tied in with classical movements -- I really enjoyed it. Once you get your tickets, call me, PM me, or shoot me an email -- that way, I can look out for you. Check 6. /s/ Alfonso
After the performance, attendees can mingle with the dancers at Massimo Ristorante, 1604 Locust St, Walnut Creek, CA 94596 (925) 932-1474. Massimo is just across the street from the Lesher Center. They are expecting us around 10:30 PM. I hope you all can make it. Justice
Cool. The show went well tonight and all the dancers know you guys are coming. They are calling it "the car party". Ha ha. They are pretty excited. Justice
ROCK STAR! Melia and I will be in my truck due to flooding and road closures fri night. And the fact that my fun car is in the shop in many pieces!
AwooO! Vijay's table-dancing antics aside, the hi-light of that evening was the cop we scared into hiding. Alfonso, you should have been with us for the blast out of Mill Valley.
Many thanks to all the FChatters who came out to WC for the big night. I had a blast and I hope you did too. I also learned that, not only do Lamborghinis not melt in the rain, neither do Ferraris, contrary to popular rumor. Thanks to those of you who brought exotics in iffy weather, braving the elements. See you all around soon, Justice
Justice, great event! Thanks for introducing Company C Ballet. Absolutely great performance. Driving back on 680 braving the storm was a different story, let's just say that at times it was more scary than our Coalinga (spelling?) drive.
What a great event with fantastic people. This night will live in my memory for all time, thank you all! -Ben.
Sting -- Funny, I kinda liked blasting along in the downpour . . . it takes a lot to get the LP loose, but a half inch of standing rain on the freeway will definitely do it. Fun!!! The other funny thing was the Ferrari guys who didn't know how to locate the controls for their windshield wipers . . . ? (You guys should get out more!) Ben, it was great to meet you at last. It was a super group of folks. I assume the only reason I didn't witness any table dancing was because you got shy with all the real dancers around? Justice
