There is not comparison. They are just too different. Why can't one enjoy both and stop this anal "mine is better than yours" BS. NASCAR has real racing, F1 has technology. I do not think there is an F1 driver that could make the shift to NASCAR, it is quite different and very difficult. I can think of two NASCAR drivers that could have done well in F1, road racing in general: Jeff Gordan and Tony Stewart.

If I were MS, I would say the same thing about Indy, its really scary. The cars are way too fast on a track with very little room for error. At least in F1 there usually are run off areas.

Please, no more F1 vs NASCAR threads!!! No matter which you think is better, you would be wrong.

I would say it's like comparing Pamela Anderson, no wait some B-level porn star (NASCAR) to Catherine Zeta Jones (F1). Any questions?

Actually Jacques Villeneuve talks in an interview with RED BULLetin about his own future and showed some interest in doing NASCAR after his F1 years. So who knows. He basically said what Nigel did (win F1 then move to the US and win CART in his rookie year) was awesome, but CART is no longer what it was and that the real action in US racing is now in NASCAR and so if anything he'd go there.
