The large "308 GTSi" badge tacked onto the passenger side of the dash surely doesn't look like something anyone from Maranello would do. You would think they could have at least used a chisel to remove some of the layers of crap off of the engine before trying to sell it. Or maybe the guy burned his retinas out after sitting in that cabin for too long and couldn't tell the engine was dirty. I do like those wheels on the 308, though.

WHY would you have "308 GTSi" put on the dash right above the "GTSi" badge on the front of the dash? Either because you forgot the top came off... or maybe that the car was fuel injected...
Maybe in case someone else was driving, and you wanted to make sure you could always look down and remember that your car was, in fact, a 308 GTSi? Or if your retinas really were burned out from all the ambient light in the cabin, you could still reach up and feel the badge on the dash, and using only your sense of touch know that the car was, in fact, a 308 GTSi.
Whoever is looking at this car, check the records carefully There was a euro 83 in this area in the past that was a police/DEA impound and was for sale in the 10K range in 01 or 02. The thing I remember about the car was that it had an almost identical custom interior (and it didn't run at the time, fuel system issues). Could be coincidence, or maybe it's the same car with some repair work.

Yikes! I guess $10-12k doesn't buy you much taste. It is good that someone fixed the car up, but it is definitely not worth the $20k in my opinion. You probably will have more repair bills with this one than the average 308 given its history. BT

Now it all makes sense! They were ON DRUGS when they decided on the white interior with the gaudy badge glued to the dash! Maybe an all white interior makes it easier to hide your cocaine? And the huge badge will distract the police?
Anyone possibly looking at this car needs to check for DOT paperwork. I'm pretty sure MPH speedometers were required as part of the federalization process. With this one in KmPH, I would be a little concerned it might not be in the country legally.

not all white interiors are the same i was a dedicated fan of all black interor on ALL of my vehicles.....until the Jalpa came along.
