I am about to order my inner/outer rims to complete the Compomotive centers I have. My info from past emails states that all four wheels have a 5.5" inner rim. Only the outer rim measurement is different from front/rear.

Can anyone with these wheels take a look and confirm this? I'd hate to order them and be wrong.

    Thanks!

Anthony I have a couple spare of the TS-17 at home, if you can wait I'll measure mine when I get home. Are yours 16" or 17"?

Hi Anthony! If this is the measurement you're asking for, then I measured it at 1.6" and the back barrel is 6.1". Now this is for the 8" wide that I use for the front and the rear wheels are wider and it's 9" wide, unfortunately I don't have my car here with me so I can't measure the rear wheel.

    Thanks Mike.

That's really interesting. My center section is .5" thick. According to my old emails Compomotive claims all four wheels have a 5.5" inner section. So for the front that would be a 5.5" inner, .5" Center, and a 2" outer for a 8" rim.

I think we have different offset which make sense because if you have smaller inner then your outer will increase. If I was measuring it wrong, can you tell me exactly where to measure?

Remember that the specified wheel width is measured from the inside bead face to the inside bead face, ignoring the width of the bead and lip sections. An "8" wide" wheel will measure close to 9" wide from outside to outside dimension.

    See the diagram here: https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/techpage.jsp?techid=101

I have a set of 16"on my 328 and a set of 17" on my 308 but it would indeed take SERIOUS cash to part with either one:)

Lol, thanks to Mike I got these a few years back direct from Compomotive.

Thankfully I now have a CNC and could probably just machine them myself. Considering how desirable these are I'll have to look into the legal aspect of selling three piece centers in the future. Right now I have too much on my plate.
