I am trying to install real player. Everytime I try to run the installer thing on their website I get an error message. I think it is saying that I am missing stub.dll Is this something on my windows CD I can copy to the computer? Thanks for any help.
is it asking you to point to where the stub.dll is located? if so, try c:\windows\system or c:\windows\system32 and see if it finds it there. also, forget real player. get real alternative: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm
It shows a location and then it says missing and it has another word but I don't remember what it is. I will try that alternative program. Thanks.
if the alternate program doesn't work, write down what the msg is on the real player installer and send it over or post here.
